Saturday service I Celebrating absurdity

“I draw from the absurd three consequences, which are my revolt, my freedom, and my passion” - Albert Camus.

Social and environmental justice is an ongoing area of contemplation, frustration and action. As a kid, Nique was keen on dressing up. Her French mum would direct her and her sister in short plays for the Alliance Francaise. She usually got to play the old man or the mad professor. At Uni she discovered clowning and then went to Paris to learn more about it at a physical theatre school.  She lived in Alice Springs for 20 years and joined the Humour Foundation as one of their clown doctors.
She currently facilitates mindfulness based stress reduction courses and practise radical presence as an elder clown with people in residential care who have dementia.
